You must learn to reverse engineer exploits, you should not need to wait for someone else to write a thread explaining what happened.
There's tons of old exploits you can start with and Phalcon is free to use
Once you understand a system so well, you can explain it back and write it from scratch, you will most likely find all the bugs, barring some gotchas
There is no competition once you are good enough, focus on your own progress and ignore the noise
